In July 1998 Michaela released her debut CD Fairy Tales and the Death of Innocence. The album was recorded in Toronto by Juno award winning producer Greg Kavanagh and includes a line up of acclaimed musicians such as Lenny Solomon, Hugh Marsh and Steve Lucus. Her video for Naked in the Water was released in February 2000 and is still receiving little rotation on CMT and Muchmore music.
